Today, June 9th, we are not just raising a toast to a man; we are celebrating a legacy with the birthday of Albert Kweku Acheampong, humble yet visionary CEO of Footprint TV, which this year came into its 16th year of Kingdom broadcast.
Since shy about himself but extremely enterprising, Albert set up one of Ghana’s finest Christian media platforms somewhere between the years 2009 and 2010.
Today, Footprint TV is a household name: it’s a marvelous 24/7 Channel, providing gospel content all year round, with live event streaming, digital tools for ministry and partnerships for the ministry around the world.
In the spirit of innovation, the network was able to embrace Albert’s vision under leadership, allowing mobile giving evangelism to flourish, streaming encore content and producing programs worthy of acclaim Poolside Praise, Wired 2 Worship, Praise Party,and 60 Minutes With God.
We collectively celebrate Albert’s life with the global gospel family today. An altruistic heart and drastic devotion continue to inspire all who work for the Church.
Sixteen years of ruthless Kingdom effectiveness, media excellence and spiritual impact- quite literally, the success of Footprint TV reflects Albert’s calling.
With Albert getting older, the story continues, going further to develop his digital reach, make more gospel partnerships and really pour in their efforts on creative storytelling to uplift the next generation.
