Ghanaian gospel minister Joe Mettle made a surprise appearance on stage to celebrate fellow gospel minister Diana Hamilton during the Columbus, Ohio edition of The Experience with Diana Hamilton on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
The event, which was held at Jesus Power Assembly of God Church in Columbus, brought worshippers together for an evening of live gospel music, praise and worship. The Columbus edition was part of Diana Hamilton’s international The Experience concert series.
In a moment that delighted those gathered, Joe Mettle joined Diana Hamilton on stage, creating a special moment between two of Ghana’s leading gospel voices.
The appearance was particularly significant as both ministers have shared stages over the years. Joe Mettle was also part of an earlier edition of The Experience with Diana Hamilton in Ghana, reflecting a long-standing connection between the two ministers and the concert series.
The surprise appearance in Columbus also offered a notable picture of support among Ghanaian gospel ministers as their music and ministry continue to reach audiences outside Ghana.
For an event built around worship, praise and fellowship, the moment between Diana Hamilton and Joe Mettle added another memorable layer to the Columbus edition, as two established voices in Ghanaian gospel celebrated one another on an international platform.
The Experience with Diana Hamilton has developed into an international gospel concert series, with previous editions staged across Ghana and the United Kingdom. The latest Columbus edition continued that journey, taking the worship experience to another city and bringing Ghanaian gospel ministry to an audience in the United States.
Joe Mettle’s surprise appearance was therefore more than an unexpected stage moment. It was a simple but powerful display of support, friendship and unity among Ghanaian gospel ministers as they continue to carry the message of the Gospel beyond borders.
