High School Praise 2026 Launched To Save More Hearts Through Music, Worship And Giving

Nii Okai Ministries (NOM) has officially launched the 2026 edition of its flagship High School Praise initiative, continuing its mission of using music, worship and the arts to inspire young people while raising support for children living with congenital heart conditions.

The launch was held at the AI Centre of IT Consortium on Tuesday, October 6, ahead of the main event scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Shield International School in Adenta will host the event for the first time.

High School Praise brings together high school students and alumni for an afternoon of worship, music, talent development and fundraising in support of the Nii Okai Saving Hearts Foundation (NOSHF).

The impact of the initiative was highlighted through the story of eight-year-old Husseina, whose heart surgery was successfully supported with funds raised through last year’s High School Praise campaign. Her story, according to the organisers, demonstrates the tangible difference that collective giving from students, schools, organisations and individuals can make.

The 2026 edition will feature ministrations from gospel artiste Cofi Boham and Rev. Nii Okai, alongside performances and activities involving students from participating schools.

The participating schools are Shield International School, Tema International School, Akosombo International School, Life International College, Ghana Christian International High School and Vine Christian High School.

High School Praise is part of Nii Okai Ministries’ High School Mission, an initiative established to engage young people through music, worship and mentorship while encouraging them to become agents of positive change in their communities. Over the past four years, the initiative has engaged thousands of students across participating schools.

Speaking at the launch, Rev. Nii Okai said the initiative is designed to show young people that their talents, influence and resources can be used to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

The launch was attended by sponsors, partners and media representatives, including IT Consortium Limited, represented by Mr. Franklin Eleblu, and Sweet Muzic Pro Audio, represented by Pastor Abraham Asiedu.

Nii Okai Ministries is calling on students, alumni, parents, organisations and individuals to support this year’s campaign. Contributions can be made through Chango by visiting changoapp.com, selecting High School Praise 2026, and making a donation.

The main event will take place on Saturday, October 31, at 1:00 p.m. at Shield International School, Adenta, with the proceeds going towards the Saving Hearts Foundation’s support for children with congenital heart conditions.
