Women in Worship marked its 10th anniversary with a major thanksgiving gathering in Accra on Sunday, September 27, bringing worshippers together for an evening of praise, worship and celebration under the theme “A Decade of Grace: Our Thanksgiving Offering.”
The event, organised by Genet Services, was held at the Sports Complex opposite the University of Ghana Sports Stadium and drew worshippers for a celebration of God’s faithfulness over the past decade.
The 10th anniversary edition featured a strong lineup of gospel music ministers, with Empress Gifty, Piesie Esther, Naomi Raine, Celestine Donkor, Tagoe Sisters, Akua Sewaa Bonsu, Sarah Appiah and Judikay among those who took the stage.
Each of the ministers delivered their respective ministrations, contributing to an atmosphere of praise and worship as the gathering celebrated a decade of Women in Worship.
One of the notable moments of the evening came with a surprise appearance by gospel musician MOG Music, who joined the gathering and played the trumpet, adding another memorable dimension to the worship experience.
The 2026 edition served as a thanksgiving celebration of the journey of Women in Worship over the past 10 years. The platform has grown into a significant gathering within Ghana’s gospel music and worship calendar, bringing women, families and worshippers together around faith and music.
Beyond its annual worship gatherings, Women in Worship has also been associated with social impact initiatives, including efforts around cervical cancer awareness and support for women receiving treatment.
With the theme “A Decade of Grace,” this year’s gathering provided an opportunity to look back on the journey, celebrate God’s faithfulness and give thanks for the impact of the platform over the years.
Women in Worship 2026 has now added another memorable chapter to that journey, with the 10th anniversary celebration in Accra bringing together gospel music, worship and thanksgiving in one significant gathering.
