Ghanaian gospel minister Celestine Donkor has released her latest album, Highly Lifted, a new body of work centred on worship, praise, faith and the exaltation of God.
Released on August 6, 2026, the project brings together songs that reflect different expressions of Celestine Donkor’s ministry, from personal declarations of faith and worship to praise medleys rooted in Ghanaian musical traditions.
The album features 16 tracks, including the title track “Highly Lifted,” “I Carry Fire,” “Anuonyam (Glory),” “We Hail You,” “Same Spirit,” “Use Me,” “He Reigns,” “Praise Him Aloud,” “Nyame Sunsum,” “Tasted,” “Still Standing,” “Something New,” “Metumi Adenyinaa Medley,” “Nye Me Nyao,” “Ewe Afro Medley,” and “Boboobor Hymns.”
The project also features several notable collaborations. “Use Me” features Minister Bella, while “Boboobor Hymns” brings together Celestine Donkor with Tembalami, Piesie Esther, Uncle Ato and Zaza Mokhethi.
Several of the songs on the album have previously been introduced to listeners as individual releases, including “I Carry Fire,” “Anuonyam (Glory),” “He Reigns,” “Something New” and “Ewe Afro Medley.” The new album brings these releases together with additional songs to form a broader worship project.
“Highly Lifted” adds to Celestine Donkor’s growing catalogue of gospel projects following previous albums including Righteousness, Turning Around, Okronkronhene and Testimony Therapy.
With its blend of contemporary gospel, worship, praise and Ghanaian musical influences, Highly Lifted offers listeners a collection of songs designed to point attention back to God and celebrate His faithfulness.
The album is now available across major digital streaming platforms for listeners to enjoy.
